I haven't washed my ear yet but it all looks great and isn't too sore :o)

- I've been deaf since the age of 4 and it progressively got worse and I was severely to profoundly deaf in both ears before deciding to have a Cochlear Implant in my right ear in August. I started this blog so you can see me going through the process of having a cochlear implant and the experience I have had with it so far!

I only came across your blog now.
I only had the tiniest bit of hair shaved & they only opened behind my ear,in the crease...I'd no head opening & just 7 staples behind my ear...amazing the difference in 7 years
